Congratulations to you and to the authors and editors for the positive response to this article.

I just read the article by the organization listed in the Subject line  above. I would like to know who they are. I've searched for them on  the Internet, without success. Do they have a Web page?
An e-mail  address? You may put me in touch with them, and have them write to
me, if you wish.

Thanks for your help. And thanks for the excellent article. I will
watch for further installments. I just appreciate knowing who's  behind the
views expressed.

I read with interest your article on the constitution.  I do not agree that it cannot be discussed at church - it is time for those who complain about the "p" word get a realistic view.  Politics is the application of private morals in public life - if not our morals, then whose?  We need to get members used to the idea of discussing politics in a non-partisan way during gospel discussions, from the pulpit, and in the hallway.  It has always been Church policy to not advocate or endorse candidates, but discussion of principles and their direct application in legislation is well within our purview.   Other renditions of Joseph Smith's quote on saving the constitution have included an "if" - if it is to be saved...

Let's wake up and remove the if from that statement!  I am perfectly fine with the idea that those of us who use the web should read the discussions in Meridian - then we should take those points to our wards and branches - otherwise we will remain a tiny and unheard minority.

I was surprised that I found no copy of the Constitution on your site, or even a link to another site where one could read it. I am sure this is just an oversight. It would be great if you had a copy of the
Constitution incorporated into your site, you could do many wonderful things; annotated articles with links to the specific clause or section of the Constitution that is being discussed, provide lists of articles or books (pages in the book) which correlate to specific parts of the Constitution that will give deeper understanding.

Thank you so much for this site, I truly appreciate it and I am glad that you have a newsletter.

United in our love of the Constitution we will prevail!

John

(John,  The Constitution as well as other links and references are on the site now.  Thanks!)
